meet lou
it’s me, hi, I’m the
problem it’s me
I'm your local ginger, pizza-loving, adventurer based just outside Edinburgh. I can often be found exploring in our camper van Elton, swimming in the sea with the kids or wrapped up in a blanket playing a board game (getting slightly over-competitive). My love language is quality time closely followed by acts of service and I don’t drink tea but, as of a trip to NYC in 2019, I do drink beer!
I shot my first wedding in 2022 and I have never looked back. I still pinch myself that this is REAL LIFE and I get to spend all these wonderful, joyful days with so many amazing, happy couples!
i do photography with feeling
I'm a wedding photographer for fun-loving laid-back couples that want to tie the knot their way - whether that be drinking some beers in town after a chilled micro-wedding, a big DIY party filled with personality, fun & colour or even an adventurous elopement atop a mountain.
I'll be there to capture the big moments, the little moments, the in between moments and even the moments you might miss. I capture the joy, fun and essence of your day. I'll be a pal, putting you at ease and document the laughter & love stories in a relaxed, documentary style.
I'll make friends with your pals (we’ll bond over MAFS Australia + Ru Paul’s Drag Race) and make sure they know to shout me for a photo when they hit the dance-floor!
I love love, almost as much as I love pizza & I'd love to third-wheel your wedding!

“We met Lou in sunny North Berwick for a family shoot with our 6 month old. She was absolutely fantastic! From arranging a date, time and location, to putting us at ease during the shoot and getting our photos back to us, Lou was so friendly and professional. She has such an eye for what photos to take and capturing natural unposed memories. We’ve got some wonderful photos of our wee star that we will cherish forever! My only issue now is trying to decide which ones to frame and put on on the wall as they are all so beautiful!!”
